The SOTA Site Council is composed of the principal, teacher representatives selected by the teachers, parents of SOTA students selected by such parents and students selected by the student body. This group allocates the budget of the entire school excluding custodial, safety staff and the special education program. Out of the allotment given to SOTA based on student enrollment, we staff the school, buy the materials, pay for teacher training and support the SOTA program. As part of our task we must write the SOTA Academic Plan and update it annually. All our approved expenditures must be directed by the Academic Plan. The school plan includes the following:
Regularly scheduled meetings are the 4th Friday of each month at 4:00 PM in the Conference Room adjoining the Principal's Office. |
